Bachelor Degree as Specialized Social Worker in Psycho-Educational Support (HEB Defré – Brussels) and a Master Degree in Education & Training – Social & Cultural Development (University of Lisbon – Education Institute).

Highschool in Luxembourg where I’m blocked by the prime minister.

But I can express myself in 6 languages :

#english #french #german #spanish #portuguese and #luxembourgish

After high school I left home for an adventure which is not so easy. I define it as : “mom doesn’t make food anymore…

My bachelor’s school internship was in Australia, Mount Gambier to be more precise at Tenison Woods College where they work with inclusion for years. I learned a lot about extrinsic and intrinsic motivation.

After that I didn’t want to work, but didn’t want to pursue my studies too. So I went to France where I worked as a camp counsellor. For six months I worked all over the hexagon and Spain. I started to be interested by social identity, social influence and societal influence.

I wanted to challenge myself again and started to think : “I have a germanic diploma (Luxembourg) and a francophone diploma (Brussels). Let’s go and catch a lusophony diploma like a Pokemon Master. So, here we go on the way to Lisbon.

My Master university internship was in Brazil where I worked with children and teenagers on the street. It was difficult for me to develop a project because we were in a religious organization. This one was very interesting because they took youngsters off the streets and gave them to eat, a bed and a better life, but there were still some troubles, because sexuality, drugs, sexual orientation were taboo. When they turned eighteen and started an independent life, they fall on drugs or ended up in jail. Some girls came back to the organization, but pregnant. You can taboo as much as you want, but we can’t forget that human being is and will always be a curious animal.

So, here the question was, how can I put a project in place without disrespecting the Bible, but transmitting them some answers of their questions about drugs, sexuality, etc.? And that’s when I started to know more about Paulo Freire with the methodology “Círculos de Cultura”, such as Bessel H. & Palomares U. with their Magic Circle Methodology and the Cercle de parole PRODAS technique. I can’t forget Augusto Boal with his “Teatro do Oprimido” technique.

This wasn’t just rich for them, because my love for theatre grew extremely.

My adventure continued in São Paulo where I started cinema class. I began to study Stanislavsky, Adler and Meisner.

I conceptualized a video in which a was the main character and it blew up with more than 4 millions of views on YouTube.

Brazilian people were always laughing at me because of my accent. So I grabbed this weakness and transformed it in a strengthens. The doors of the Stand Up Comedy world opened and I conquered the heart of Brazilians.

After having the best time in my live in Brazil, because in there we don’t need apps like Tinder, the Luxembourgish bank called me and told me : “Hey, you have to pay back your loan that you acquired for your university studies”.

So I went back to Luxembourg and this artistic life came to an end…

Luxembourg, the Grand-Duchy country that has a delay of 10 to 15 years in comparison with France, Germany and Belgium. Yes, I’m speaking about all those domains like Stand Up Comedy, Content Creation, Acting, Social Media Coach, etc…

Then some people told me : “Micas I followed you adventure all around the world, so bring your experience to the country!

And that’s when, I started creating videos and tried to promote Stand Up Comedy as much as possible. People started to point their finger at me saying : “Stop, making the clown on your videos. It’s ridiculous. Work like everyone. We live in Luxembourg, to be a content creator here it’s impossible…“. But I always thought that those people were conformed by society’s sayings

Now I am a self-employed and companies want to work with me. Youngsters want to take pictures with me and the ones that pointed their finger at me are…

Moral of the story :

All grown-ups were once children, but only few of them remember it.
